Love, Light, and Fellowship - each part of the name of this group Love Light Fellowship ... these are not ideas. Reality, as manifestations of these Aspects is Personal, Intimate, and Self-Giving.
Jesus manifested this in the early 1st Century: Jesus is seen as an Incarnation of the Tenacious-Fearless-Loyal Love of the Father-Mother of all. Such Love cannot be placed in a doctrine, a philosophy, or a spirituality. The most form can do is inspire and intimate of this Love.
Love has now become a much-written word in on-line discourse, and we often see heart signs. Yet, do we begin to fathom the Power of Love? Will we yield to Love as a Mighty, though Kind, Force, not a nice, appealing idea or feeling?
Love, as a concept, is no more than another ideology, unless one becomes the Love one speaks of. This takes daring surrender of the whole being, to Love Itself, to be Love.
Only Love can lead to that yielding to Love. Indeed, only Love attracts Love. Love is Its own source and destination of Loving. And the final desire of this Love is to transform every thought and act into Itself.
One of the meanings of the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus is that the self we think we are must be crucified in and for the Love by which Jesus surrendered to unjust death. The Resurrection is the Reality of the Life after the, sometimes painful, dying of our stubborn, prideful insistence to live apart from the Demands and Call upon Us of Love, to be Love - a faithful, life-giving, divine Love. To know this Love is to know Bliss, to enjoy Heaven, to know the delicious Delight of a self-giving that adores and venerates the Other and other.
